Breaking Up with Perfect for Moms
Thanks to all of you who participated in the Wrapped in Grace blog tour last week! Although the number of comments got too overwhelming to try to answer (what a fun problem!), I want you to know that I read every single one. I prayed for so many of you who have experienced pain over your perfection, and my prayers and heart particularly connected with those of you who are facing your first Christmas without a loved one. I heard each heart’s cry, and I prayed for you.
All the winners from the giveaways have been contacted by email, but you can see the whole list at WrappedInGrace.info.
This week, we’re going to switch gears a little. I got the fun opportunity to do an interview and to write for two different and wonderful mom blogs. I hope you’ll visit them for a blessing and to be a blessing this week. These are two hard-working moms who want to connect and help other moms in the trenches:
The God Centered Mom podcast–“Breaking Up with Perfect in Motherhood”
Missional Motherhood–“Filling Up Before the Empty Nest”
I really, really want you to check out these blogs, so I’ve got a great giveaway today as incentive. If you leave a comment at either or both (both enters you twice!) of the links above, you will be entered to win this great mom package.
There are some gifts for a mom (you?)… Hoodwinked a fabulous new book for moms by Karen Ehman and Ruth Schwenk that’s hot off the presses as well as a cute apron.
And some for the child in your life… Parable Treasury by the delightful Liz Curtis Higgs and a bag of fall stickers.
Make sure to come back next week. I’m going to post a series of the Wrapped in Grace interviews. They are just too good to miss as we move toward Thanksgiving and Christmas!
