I don’t think I’m the only student enrolled in the School of Hard Knocks ;), so I’m betting that’s why you’re here today. I’ve made a resource that I hope will be a delight for both your eyes and your soul. I’ve printed one and put it on my bathroom mirror to remind myself to study God’s Word for solutions before I run into snags.

  1. As one with advanced degrees in the school of hard knocks, I find your post enlightening and encouraging. The list is a treasure trove of scripture and definitely a light to show the way.

  2. Amy, saw your post on P31 encouragement for today. Thank you for a beautiful reminder of the power of seeking God’s wisdom in the word. I’ve been setting my eyes on him for a couple of years now and there’s been a huge difference in the drama associated with life’s storms . The storms still come but my little boat is now buoyed by the word and Jesus is the masthead. Thanks for the little reminder today that the daily scripture diet has been the key. Blessings.

  3. Thank you Amy. after reading your blog about lying awake at night, worrying, worrying, I knew what your answer would be. I always pray, I’m quite vocal about turning over to Him what we can not handle. I just don’t practice what I preach. I’m always asking His forgiveness because I find it easy say this to others but simply must worry and fret over my own issues. It’s silly, I know. You really have put it out there for me with your post today and I’m so grateful. Thank you too for the list of scripture. Bless you Amy and have a wonderful day.

  4. I am ready to break up with perfect. I never feel I do things right or do enough. I pray God will guide me in this.
