A Part of Something Bigger
Last Friday I joined a new group, so I was listening closely as introductions were made around the table. I secretly smiled as The Best Yes was mentioned not once but twice, woven into women’s life stories.
When I introduced myself, there were some pensive looks and then one woman said, “Do you write for Proverbs 31 Ministries? I love those devotions. I can’t believe how they speak right into where I am in life almost every day.” It was pure joy to explain that I’m part of our writing team and speaker team, and I teared up on the way out of the building that morning, grateful at the chance to be a small part of a ministry that’s having big impact for Jesus in women’s lives.
On a regular basis, I’m overwhelmed by the glimpse you give into how Proverbs 31 Ministries is making a difference. Here are a few comments from a recent devotion and blog post on thankfulness:
