Mining Your Personal Study

Whitney Capps is back this week, and now you’ll get to see in person how contagious this adorable, Jesus-loving mom of four really is.  I’ve watched ahead, and I can’t wait for you to absorb all the wisdom that she has to share.

You’ll hear that she has offered to answer your questions, so don’t hesitate to leave them in the comments section!

  1. Whitney, what you’re saying is so true about manipulating the scriptures to fit a particular theme. I tried making the story of Abraham and Sarah fit a bible study course, but I had to change it because the Lord was leading towards a totally different path. Thanks for being truthful.

  2. Thank you for your post! What a perfect post as I get ready to go to She Speaks and meet hundreds of girlfriends that Jesus has prepared for me! I am also struggling to decide what to say in my 5 minute talk and this reminded me to let the Holy Spirit guide me through scripture and to stop searching. I hope to meet you at She Speaks Whitney! Blessings, Michelle

  3. Great message, Whitney!! And really love the vlog format! Thanks for sharing! So glad you’re feeling better. Blessings!

  4. So appreciate your commitment to not manipulate the Word into your outline! He is so faithful to speak to us so that we might speak to others!

  5. Whitney! I was thrilled to “visit” with you this morning via this video message! It brought back such sweet memories of your time with us in So. GA in March! Thanks for being God’s JOYful servant. You are such an inspiration and a shining example of His love…..and JOY!
    JOYfully His,
    JOYce

  6. Whitney —

Thank you SO much! This was such a practical lesson…and it was so much more fun to see and hear your spunky self than to just read your words (although that would have been great, too, I’m sure!)
